Youth Summer Reading Program - Plant a seed, read!
This program is for kids and teens of all ages to keep up their learning and reading during the summer by encouraging them to explore their interests, participate in fun educational programs, and earn prizes. Sign up for the reading challenge in the Youth Department or contact them at youth@wwpl.org or 401-828-3750 x 2!

Patrons ages 18 and up can participate in the adult summer reading program digitally with Beanstack or using a tracker bookmark. Track your reading and attend library programs to win prizes...and earn entries for the grand prize!

Library Walking Club - Fridays @ 9am (no walk on July 3) 
Join us on Friday Mornings for an hour long walk on the Bike Path. We will meet in the library parking lot. (weather permitting, children must be accompanied by an adult.)

 Heart and Brain
Tuesday, August 4 @ 6pm

During this presentation by the RI Geriatric Education Center, participants will identify self-care strategies that will also benefit their physical health. The presenter will provide an overview of the Mediterranean, DASH and Mind Diets and offer simple ways to incorporate healthy habits into your busy day. The first hour will include didactic, group and individual activities, followed by 30-minutes of resource sharing and opportunity for questions and open discussion.

The WWPL is proud to announce our forthcoming publication of tabletop roleplaying game adventures written by game masters in our local community; Wicked Good Adventures: Big Adventures from the Smallest State. Throughout July and August, the GMs/Authors will be running their adventures for the public at the library. Check our website throughout the month for more details on games and how to register.
