12 Days of Halloween - Oct 19-31 : The stacks in the reference department will be hosting some spooky new neighbors. Visit the mini haunted houses hidden in the shelves and collect each of the five tiny ghost-hosts to exchange them at the reference desk for candy. All ages are welcome to participate, but we ask that each patron limit trick or treating only once a week. On the 30th or 31st, folks may trick or treat an additional time regardless of previous participation.
Adults Only:
Werewolf in the Dark - Wed, Oct 28 @ 6pm - Please note that this is an 18 & up program only: Join us for some spooky fun in this live-action social deduction game of hide and seek! Through the course of day, night, and dusk phases, players will sneak about in the dark trying to complete their secret objectives. This is a physical game that is played in near total darkness. It requires limited contact with other players in the form of taps, a hand on the shoulder or back, or gentle arm squeezes. It also requires navigating safely in the dark. Please keep in mind your comfort with touching and moving in the dark when deciding to sign up. All players play at their own risk and will be asked to sign a liability waiver.
