Children's Programs

Baby Story Class on

Mondays

For children newborn to 24 months. Playful stories, songs, and rhymes followed
by social play time. Older siblings welcome.

Toddler Story Class on

Wednesdays

For toddlers 2-3 years old. Stories, songs, rhymes, and a craft to share social reading and fun.

Siblings welcome.

Preschool Story Class on

Thursdays

For preschoolers 3-5 years old. Join us for stories, music, and a fun craft.

Younger siblings are always welcome.

All storytime classes start at 10:30am. No registration is necessary - just drop in.

All children are to be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.

Teen Programs

Teen Center

Open Monday through Thursday from 3pm- 8pm for teens in grades 6 -12. Center offers study tables, laptops, printers, WIFI, gaming console and an iMAC. Teens can hang out, relax, or get some school work done.

Multicultural Book Club

Wednesday May 28th at 7pm in the Teen Center. Explore different cultures and identities in the book Maus by Art Spiegelman.

Volunteer Opportunities

Drop in anytime the Teen Center is open Monday-Thursday from 3-8 pm. Sign in and get to work!

Storied Lives Bookclub

Wednesday May 28th at 7pm, join us in person or via Zoom. May's book is

Her Body and Other Parties by Carmen Maria Machado. Copies of the book are available at the Circulation Desk. Like to join us? Please fill out the bookclub form.

RI Food Bank Healthy Habits Workshop

Saturday May 31 at 2pm. Join the RI Food Bank's nutrition education team to explore the basics of building a healthy, sustainable lifestyle. Eat with us during our cooking demonstration.

Healthy Habits Registration

Soundbath Meditation with Siri Yoga

Monday May 12th at 6pm. An hour of restorative sound immersion with Siri Yoga. This experience includes restorative sound bowls, guided body scans, breathing exercises, tuning forks and gongs. Take the class lying on the ground or seated in a chair. Register or just drop in. Free adult program.
